Authorized HayHut Dealer in Front Royal VA.

Serving the Shenandoah Valley

I decided to become an authorized HayHut Dealer because I found what other horse owners need.  A product that saves time and money by protecting quality hay from the elements, as well as preventing waste due to mold and/or messy horses spilling and soiling good hay.  I was wasting 1/4 - 1/2 round bale every two weeks until I bought my HayHut, then each bale lasted almost a month before I needed a new bale.  I purchased my HayHut in November 2016 and never looked back!  My mission is to educate the equine community about this safe and money saving alternative to traditional round bale feeders.

HayHut $975.00

Currently In Stock: Qty 16

The all weather enclosed horse hay feeder heralds a revolution in the feeding of hay to horses and in particular it capitalizes on the feeding of economical round rolls that are quickly replacing square bales as farmers struggle with production costs caused by lack of available labor.  These labor shortages throughout the country are also forcing marked increases in the prices of conventional square bales!  By enclosing the hay it is protected from inclement weather and the ravages of horses that, by nature, like to defecate on hay and use it as bedding.  This wastage that can amount to in excess of one third of a round bale is almost totally eliminated by the HayHut.  The HayHut can also be used for stacks of conventional square bales where significant labor savings are achieved by extending times between hay feedings.

Net Kit $215.00

Currently In Stock: Qty 13

The Slow Feed Net Kit installs inside the HayHut and offers additional benefits besides the obvious of reducing wasted hay... Its actually healthier for your horses.  Slow feeding gives horses something to do.  This reduces boredom, which in turn reduces or moderates unwanted behaviors such as cribbing, weaving and stall or paddock walking.  Horses don't fast for long periods between feed times and are more relaxed overall.  They suffer less digestive discomfort and aren't obsessing over food during the time between feedings.  Using the net also helps protect against some respiratory problems such as heaves.  Hay dust often aggravates these problems.  The net prevents the horses from burying their noses in the hay pile, stirring dust up, and breathing it in.
